Not one to sit still, she enjoys beekeeping and embarking on overly ambitious DIY home remodeling, landscaping & carpentry projects. Her biggest project yet is her daughter, born in September 2017.
Former professional cyclist, road + cyclocross, Rapha Boulder RCC Coordinator + Marketing
Meredith began racing bikes as an amateur in 1998 and became a full-time racer when she moved to Copenhagen in 2003. After three years in Europe with the Danish program Team SATS, Meredith moved back to a US squad, Team Lipton, with the likes of three-time Olympic gold medalist Kristin Armstrong. In 2008 Meredith picked up cyclocross and for six years alternated between an extensive road schedule and an intense cyclocross calendar. Beginning to feel the effects of two back to back seasons, Meredith put road racing on the back burner to focus exclusively on cyclocross. In her last two years of racing cyclocross, Meredith co-owned and managed her own racing program, Team Noosa. Eighteen years after entering her first bike race, Meredith retired from professional racing after the World Cyclocross Championships in Zolder, Belgium in 2016.
Meredith works for Rapha Boulder as the RCC Coordinator and marketer. She manages events and rides for Rapha and still spends significant time riding in the hills and dirt around Boulder with people in the cycling community. Unwilling to give up competition, it’s not unlikely to find the Boulder-based cyclist on the start line of cyclocross or gravel races around the country. She and her husband enjoy riding and traveling together and have one dog, Haka.
